Well done Grace I would have to starve myself to lose weight by diet. It's always almost been that way but of course BTM I was active enough to be able to keep my weight down. Now I wouldn't be game to race a slug! I think metabolism has always been a problem and what the fish oil does is apparently give your circulation a huge boost which kick starts the old metabolism. That's very very technical for me. Fruit and Vegies can't be a bad way to go Grace and once you are used to eating that way, the trick is not to change. YAY!! It's been very difficult, as since the bout with optic neuritis, I've been on IV Solumedrol and am now back on 60mgs of prednisone. The neuro told me whenevr i firstgot hit and was learning to walk again, that I was lucky I was a small woman as it would make my PT and recovery go a lot easier. Got my blood results tody and as expected my white blood cell count was not as low as we would likeall off the prednisone tends to give a false picture of what is goingon. The endocytes were good however, and I am confident that eventually I will reach the goal of below 5000. At my last appointment, my NMO antibody (Devic's autoimmune antibody)was still detectable so I go back in May for another test. I'm keeping my figners crossed. Grace
