HTTP Header Variables Pass Through

2003-08-22 Thread Prakash 'pk' Trivedi
Hello,

I am using Tomcat 4.1.27. How are the HTTP header variables passed through
in the original upper lower case combination or all converted to lower case.

If they are converted to all lower case, is it a W3C standard or not?

Thank you,

IIS5 Tomcat Installation Problem with Administration page

2002-11-27 Thread PK
Hi Guys,

First here is the sys configs for my test box.

W2K ADV SRV (SP3) W/IIS 5 + .NET Framework

Unclustered w/ no development for interdev

NT System Class path

- "Path" =
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM;C:\DMI\WIN32\b
in;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\Tools\BINN;C:\j2sdk1.4.1_01\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin

- "JAVA_HOME" = C:\j2sdk1.4.1_01

- "CATALINA_HOME" = C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1

Have Tomcat integrated with IIS and the ISAPI_Redir DLL file w/ Green arrow
up.

Apache Tomcat/4.1.12 1.4.1_01-b01 Sun JVM

Tomcat comes up great and I can read the homPath Display Name Running
Sessions

/manager Tomcat Manager Application true 0 Start Stop Reload Remove (No
HyperLinx) Is this OK, it says TRUE for Running?

When I go to manager the manager field is not started, stopped, reloaded, or
removed.

Added everyone write security to the main canned website folders for Tomcat.

Also when I go into Administration and comlete the login it displays fine
when I click a link I get

Error message:

---

HTTP Status 503 - Servlet action is currently unavailable

type Status report

message Servlet action is currently unavailable

description The requested service (Servlet action is currently unavailable)
is not currently available.

Apache Tomcat/4.1.12

In leftframe, then the rightframe, headerframe, and finally after a couple
of F5s in IE6+ the http://serverd:8081/admin/index.jsp is frameless.

Please advise.. Thx!!!
