TomCat 4.1.27 SSL suport with jsdk 1.4

2003-12-30 Thread Pranas
Hello,

Can somebody inform me if TomCat 4.1.27 supports:
 INTEGRAL
 in web.xml?
I tried pure HTTP with my login page. It is allowed to login. TomCat does not force
forsing using SLL.
Should I use some later version?

Thanks,
Pranas

Geriausia naudoti relative path "../../.." nuo webapps *.xml failiuke, kuris
guli webapps dir'e zr webapps pavyzdziu. O dar geriau mestelti *.war i
webapps!
Server.xml labai labai negera vieta aprasineti savo (ne sisteminius)
aplicationus ....

SAP DB JNDI Datasource

2003-09-09 Thread Pranas
Has someone tried to use SAP DB JNDI Datasource?

I was not able to create it according manual "JNDI Datasource HOW-TO".

Environment:
tomcat-4.1.27 with j2sdk1.4.1_02 on Win 2000.
1. JDBC driver in $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib/sapdbc.jar
2. server.xml configuration:

 factory
org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory
 maxActive 45
 maxIdle 5
 maxWait 15000
 username DBA
 password PASSWORD
 driverClassName
com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.DriverSapDB
 url jdbc:sapdb:///TestDB

3. web.xml configuration:

...

Test
Test

...

Test
/Test

...

Test DB Connection
jdbc/TestDB
javax.sql.DataSource
Container

...

4. Test Servlet:
...
Context initContext = new InitialContext();
if (initContext != null) {
out.println("OK. Got InitialContext()");
} // if

Context envContext = (Context)initContext.lookup("java:/comp/env");
if (envContext != null) {
out.println("OK. Got initContext.lookup(\"java:/comp/env\")");
} // if

DataSource ds = (DataSource) envContext.lookup("jdbc/TestDB");
if (ds != null) {
out.println("OK. Got envContext.lookup(\"jdbc/TestDB\")");
} // if

Connection con = ds.getConnection();
if (con != null) {
out.println("OK. ds.getConnection()");
} // if

} catch (Exception e) {
out.println("");
e.printStackTrace(out);
out.println("");
} // catch
...
Result:
OK. Got InitialContext()
OK. Got initContext.lookup("java:/comp/env")
OK. Got envContext.lookup("jdbc/TestDB")
