Re: Help with simple mod_jk conf
Thank you John you are right my localhost was wrong but now I have no errors inside my mod_jk.log but I still n have Internal Server Error for any jsp request without :8080 prefix. in response to: The simplest mod_jk configuration is to just stick Listener elements into server.xml that call the ApacheConfig class. How can I make it? I have only JMX Listener. No entries for ApacheConfig class I found the Include /var/tomcat3/conf/jk/mod_jk.conf-auto directives in the doc ...This will tell Apache to use directives in the mod_jk.conf-auto file in the Apache configuration. This file is created by enabling the Apache auto-configuration as described in the Tomcat documentation. ^ where? How can I enable it and how it works? Anyway I prefer to tweak it by hand to understand the whole process. I plan in the future to enable more workers for different situations... Any advice is appreciated Eli On Sun, 10 Nov 2002 20:25:44 -0500 Turner, John [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Judging from the logfile, your machine cannot resolve the name localhost. RE: Help with simple mod_jk conf
The simplest mod_jk configuration is to just stick Listener elements into server.xml that call the ApacheConfig class. Your mod_jk.conf is created automatically then, with appropriate entries. The only file you have to worry about at that point is workers.properties. RE: Help with simple mod_jk conf
Judging from the logfile, your machine cannot resolve the name localhost. Make sure there is an entry in your hosts file for localhost pointing to 127.0.0.1. To answer your question, yes, an AddModule line typically says something like module-name.c. Modules are written in C...your .so file started out as a .c file.
