Re: Apache-Coyote/1.1 application configuration
No one answered because the problem described is too vague. There is another theead which discussed IE and slow uploads. This might be a realted issue, maybe not. -Tim Paul Denham wrote: Hi I posted this but have had no replies. Am I on the wrong user list here? Any advice appreciated. After a long dialogue between the hosting company ( http://www.easyspeedy.com/products/os.html http://www.easyspeedy.com/products/os.html) and Visualware ( outbind://8/www.visualware.com www.visualware.com) the following conclusion was drawn (by Easyspeedy..) After reading all the mails and looked at VisualWare's website/Faq my conclusion is that your problem is NOT a application problem (speedtest application) NOR a EasySpeedy operating system fault. Just to be clear - we have used the words error/fault. There is no errors or faults as such. It is all a matter of application configuration. The application there need to be configured is the Apache Webserver We are looking for someone who can help solve this problem and other maintenance issues. RE: Apache-Coyote/1.1 application configuration
Tim Thanks for this. It's a catch 22 actually because I don't know beyond what's described what the issue is! The hosting company (easyspeedy.com) do not provide support and have suggested that we find someone .. See below:- Do you have somebody there can configure this type of application ? if not - you need somebody there can help you with this and all the other maintenance issues related with running a server eg. data backup/application patches/upgrades/security. This is not costly - but is important to have somebody there can help you when needed. If I was you I would subscribe to the the apache mailinglist and ask if somebody would help you. Here is the list details http://httpd.apache.org/userslist.html including how to subscribe. ... So that's what I was hoping for. If anyone out there can offer their services on this basis, pls let me know. RE: Apache-Coyote/1.1 application configuration
Chuck, I received this reply from Apache HTTP server users list. .. ..you appear to be using Apache Tomcat, not the Apache HTTP Server. For an Apache Tomcat mailing list, you should head over to http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail.html That's why I'm asking here, but if this is incorrect, please let me know who I should be speaking to. Thanks Paul - The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project. See URL:http://httpd.apache.org/userslist.html for more info.
