Tomcat 4.1.12 on Solaris 8. Put a new class in $CATALINA_HOME/shared/classes/foo/. Stopped and restarted Tomcat. Tried to use the class in a web app but Tomcat couldn't find it. Put the same class in $CATALINA_HOME/common/classes/foo/ and Tomcat found it just fine. Any idea why it didn't find it in the shared/classes directory?
