I tried to access a simple JSP page served by tomcat 3.2.3 and in IE, I got
back the page without images, and on Netscape I got the actual JSP file !

 any ideas ?

Never had a problem on both OS/9 or OS/X...

No problem with a Mac. Either 9.x or OS X with IE 5.x work fine. As a
matter of fact I've got Tomcat 4.0b7 running on one OS X 10.0.4 machine.

I'd recheck your code.
