Re: [Toolserver-l] Interruption of database-connections tomorrow

2013-03-20 Thread DeltaQuad Wikipedia
Hi,

SQL-s4, both -rr and -user, are down. Phpmyadmin won't let me login, and
our usual script is failing. I've tired login with the three different
projects (including my user) and none have worked.

[Toolserver-l] sql-s1-user-replication will stop

2013-03-20 Thread DaB.
Hello all,

it was discovered that an update at the WMF-side breaks our replication and
makes some manual work necessary. I have run these manual step on the new
setuped s1-server now. The problem is that the other sq-server (rosemary) has
~17k seconds replag and so the problem will occur during my sleep-phase. So
most likely the replication of enwp will stop tomorrow morning and stay so
until a root is awake.
Just as information.

@Nosy: If you are around when the problem occurs: Skip the queries that update
the mysql.-tables (only these!) and run mysql_upgrade when it complains
about a broken mysql.proc-table (the first should be an update in
recentchanges).

Sincerly,
DaB.

2013-03-20 Thread DaB.
Hello all,

maintenance is done, the config-chance worked without problems. If somebody has
problems to contact a server now, please send a mail.

Sincerely,
DaB.

Maybe there were signs that it's not set (I think those signs were in
the MediaWiki side) but I've definitely gotten a number of emails from
JIRA (but not since July) so it should be set *somewhere* (if not in
SSO). Unless something broke or mysteriously unset it.

On IRC we found that Jeremy hasn't set a mail address on SSO
so that may be a factor in *his* login problem. There's of
course still the "I get logged out after five minutes" bug.
