 Sorry, I didn't intend to cause confusion.  I don't need a new password
 for the list (I only mentioned it to point out that this is not urgent for
 me), but noticed that normal subscribers couldn't retrieve a new password
 via the options page at that time.

 I just re-tested this and metrics-team list worked as expected.

 What exactly did you do to retrieve a password reminder? Did you just go
 to the [[https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/options/metrics-
 team|options page]] and requested a mail?

 If you want to reset the mailing list password the best is to create a
 ticket and request it. I or another person will reset the pw and send it
 to you in an encrypted mail.

 I just became moderator for two metrics mailing list (cf. #22537).
 Now, I wanted to reset/retrieve my password for accessing the admin gui,
 but I didn't receive any e-mail yet (waited approx. two days).
