First thing to do would be configure Tor to log to a file and to read
that file. You can check it to see if Tor logs any issues, and every 6
hours Tor will log bandwidth usage information.

https://www.torproject.org/docs/documentation.html.en is a good starting
point. Once you have studied the available documentation and are able to
ask specific questions, you will be more likely to get answers via this

[tor-relays] New on relays and Tor

Hi all I just started investigating and getting involved with Tor project.
I have configured my router to port forwarding on one of its ports. Is
there a way or some steps to follow in order to confirm that my bandwidth
is being used by the relay?

I have checked and the port it's open.
