Its realy simple, learn linux and start with a small relay (nonexit). You can 
try a debian 10 or Ubuntu. Windoze is not a god solution. Sorry.

[tor-relays] torrelays have no bandwith

Hi to all, i have issues with my 3 relays, there is no bandwith ?! i have not 
changed the config only updatet the tor software. In nyx can i see there are 
smal bandwith connections 1-100 kbs.
All 3 relays have a 5mbit up/down connection.

Ok i have found it :-),
1. i have stopped tor and delete the folder /var/db/tor/keys
2. start tor again and whups are there new keys.
so the new torserver is running with a new identity :-)

i have 2 relays, configured with ipv4 adresses.
I have write to my isp and asked: can you change the ripe data ?
isp: no
my: ok :-( , i can also not change the reverse dnsname

1. So the question: is that a god way to change the config from IP-adress to 
dnsname in the torrc.
2. Can i also set the hostname manualy ? On Atlas is that my isp.

So when there is coming a abuse, all contact is going first to my isp, and not 
to me.

3. Is that ok when i change the exit-html expl. with my email and business 
adress

My total max bandwith is 100MB/s, 40MB i reserved to bussines and 60MB/s to 
torconnections.
I cannot use all 100mb ii is to mutch, so thats was my motivation.

I will wait and see what bandwith my setup can use and change the config to 
25-30mb/s BandwidthRate.

I running the torservers on a vm-system, each server has 3GB RAM and 2 CPUs.
Thats no problem to setup more servers in the vm-system.
All tor servers are in a separatly network on wan and lan.

Hi to all,
question: i have testet a config with ORPort 443 and dirport 80, hm but there 
are a permission issue with freebsd.
On my testsystem is no http installed,

Can i only install tor on freebsd with orport 9001 and dirport 9030 ?

i have started my servers again and changed the wan ip adress.
But the servers have the old ip after uptime of 2 times.
Can i update manualy the wan ips ?
The dns names are changed to the new ipadresses.

connection is via ssh.

(FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE)  Tor 0.3.1.9 (recommended)

When i go to the page 2 in nyx is there no connection.
But my network show me over 4000 tor connections .

What is the issue with nyx on my torservers ?

Hi, my relays are coming up in the next month :-)
this relays are 2 vm-machines with the latest debian an the latest stable tor.
But is 25MB bandwith enough to an exit ?
