Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Instructions for connecting USB DAC to Touch
Those ticking sounds you hear are normally indicative of a clocking problem, whereby the source and DAC are not locking together properly and samples are being dropped sporadically. The Touch USB driver needs to allow the DAC to be the master clock source. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal... I'm not sure whether the log from an ethernet connection shows anything new or not, but I'm posting it anyway in hopes of getting the issue of the "ticks" resolved soon. The OP reported that he was getting music but not images on his Touch after we'd discussed Bliss, so I was referring to the lousy handling of images in folders in SBS when it comes to scanning for changes. I'll give Bliss another shot when I'm back from the Christmas vacation but considering the 60-or-so covers that I'm missing really good artwork for, that I haven't been able to find via iTunes, Google Images, other artwork sites, etc., I think I may just pull them out of storage and scan them myself so I can at least post them at Album Art Exchange. -- paulster paulster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23073 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83798 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
