Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Announce: Enhanced Digital Output app - USB Dac and 192k Digital Ouput
Upgraded the Touch firmware (uninstalled EDO first). After upgrade reinstalled EDO. Now when I play a 192 track, I get unsupported format. The app seems to be installed, but does't work. Thanks EDO won't impact the formats supported (though may impact the speed they play at!) - what are you trying to play and what are the server log messages you get? I think this is a server problem rather than an EDO problem. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Touch - Synology NAS / Help needed
Re 2. make a copy of the image to each subfolder and clear and rescan everything . LMS supports embedded image if that does not exists it looks for an image in the same folder as the music files not the folder above as in the case with disc 1 2 Re 1. The music folder does not use the tag information it just uses the folders and files in the sort order they are in , it is specifically designed to not use tags ,for testing purpose or untagged librarys . You can use a tagging tool to rename the files to include track nr in front then they sort right . But this mode is slower than the others it is best to use tags so would not bother. Best solution is to separate the files so that you can point LMS to only the lossles files + files you only have in lossy formats, there are several ways to figure that out . Another solution is to use a function in the advanced file types menu called Disabled Audio File Extensions and disable the lossy formats from scanning , this only works if you actually have dual copies of everything and does not wan't any lossy files visible. 3. scanning takes time depending on size of collection and cpu and memory of the server NAS is usually slow if small energy efficient and quiet shows up somewhere . So make changes in batches and do a scan when your not listening when your at work or sleeps . This is less of problem later when the collection is in working order with the tags you want then you only add an albm now and then Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95479 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] How to stream DVD sound from Mac to Squeezebox Touch
Well, I tried changing the sout options, such as '#transcode{acodec=mp3,ab=320,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:duplicate{dst=std{access=http,dst=:8079/st.mp3},dst=display}', and I tried creating a pls list and serving it from an apache, like this: [playlist] numberofentries=1 File1=http://192.168.1.117:8079/st.mp3 Title1=DVD Length1=-1 Version=2 Still no success =( Does anyone see anything wrong, or has further pointers?
