[SlimDevices: Touch] In search for a squeezebox touch
Hi all, try to find a squeezebox touch in the Netherlands. But it's sold out everywhere and will not become available again. Is it the same in other countries? Where can I still find a touch. Mine doesn't, it's fully floating throughout, and this is possibly the cause of the problems. My Bushmaster has had no problems at all locking onto the input whether toslink or coax for any sample rate. It always locks and plays. It lock onto the input using this plugin and a 192k sample rate song also it just as intermittent static. The noise isn't static - it's a failure to lock onto the signal. My problem went away with a different DAC. [SlimDevices: Touch] Problems with WiMP
I have a squeezebox touch which I use with TinySC. WiMP usually works great but today it stopped working. I can search for songs or artists and access my favourites but I can't play any songs. It just jumps to the next song on the current playlist until the end. I can play podcasts without problem so I guess the connection with mysqueezebox.com should be fine. I can also play songs off the USB-drive connected to the touch. Aha, 192 is at best problematic over TOSLINK. The current crop of TOSLINK receivers does not have enough bandwidth to reliably handle 192. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
