Just got my invite for 30 day tidal trial in good old USA.   Will
squeezebox touch
stream Tidal?

Yes, there's official WiMP support for Squeezebox Touch, so I guess
there's a good change Tidal could or will work too. Maybe with a few
updates from WiMP/Tidal's or mherger's side?

WiMP HiFi (streaming in non-destructive flac format) works with LMS
7.7.4+, normal WiMP (streaming AAC up to 320kbit/s) works both connected
to official LMS 7.7.3 and to mysqueezebox.com. 
For LMS I recommend the community supported version 7.8.x instead of
7.7.4:

But I don't know for sure if there's any technical differences between
WiMP and Tidal, or if it's only in the name?
