Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] New iPad won't find Players.
You'd first have to tell me which iPad App you use. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 8, the Universal App for iOS 7 and iOS 8* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103198 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

Hi Pippin, I've managed to 'find' the players, but if I swap to LMS they both 'hide' again! I still cannot find my Deezer app anywhere on the iPad depite it being there on the SB Touch. Yes, I'm on WiFi, showing 100% signal too. When it comes to most things related to the SBT's I'm OK, but not that good at sussing problems! :) Craig. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] IR sensor ALMOST dead - any cure?
paf wrote: This has recently suddenly happened to one of mine as well. In my case, it barely works even if I hold the remote right up to the Touch. I've changed batteries, tried different remotes, verified that remotes that won't work with that touch work with others, etc. I'm convinced that you're right and the sensor is on the way out. I have another touch in a different room that sometimes responds quickly to remote commands and sometimes does not. The only solution I've found is to use a tablet or phone as the controller. atrocity's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16009 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103192 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] IR sensor ALMOST dead - any cure?
IR sensors can fail but they are generally very reliable so it's worth ruling out other possibilities before giving up on them. If you haven't already I would test it in a dark room, there are some light sources, including flat panel TVs, that are known to interfere with IR signals. alfista's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32396 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103192 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
