[SlimDevices: Touch] How to completely 'shot down' the device and the tosilink (optical output)
Hi all I need some help, please. I decided to use the optical audio out to my Soundbar along with another device. I use an optical splitter and use tosilink cables, one from the ST and one from the TV, the OUT to the Soundbar. In order for the other device to work (to output the sound from the TV into the Soundbar), the Squeezebox touch must be OFF. I mean OFF (no light), as the laser output (the tip of the tosilink cable) must be OFF for the other device to work via the splitter. When I switch devices, I noticed that the optical laser is still ON (light is still being produced) even though the device is presumably OFF. Questions: -Is there a way to turn off the ST (with the power in)? - Otherwise, is there an app that I can load to turn OFF the optical laser from the sound output?
