Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Analogue/digital VU
You need to add this url to the Additional Repositories section of the LMS->Settings->Plugins tab. Code: http://ralph.irving.sdf.org/extensions/touchvu.xml The Blue Glow VU meters are also available from the same repository. 35999 Restart LMS and then the VU meters should be available from the Patch Applet Installer on the Touch. If not, reboot the touch as well. +---+ |Filename: blueglow.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35999| +---+ Ralphy *1*-Touch, *5*-Classics, *3*-Booms, *2*-UE Radio 'Squeezebox client builds' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/) 'donations' (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations=LL5P6365KQEXN=CA_name=Squeezebox%20client%20builds_code=USD=PP%2dDonationsBF%3abtn_donate_SM%2egif%3aNonHosted) always appreciated. ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77117 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] WiFi dead? What are my options?
If the WLAN module is really dead and you need Wifi - thgen you can use an external Wifi to Ethernet adaptor Some user which had Wifi problems with Radio have used a Vonets VAP-11G with success - powered through in line connection but with Touch you have possibility of using Touch USB socket for power (IIRC up to 500mA) . Vonets http://www.vonets.com/productviews.asp?d_id=86 There are many types of adaptors that can provide the Wifi to Ethernet conversion such as nanorouters (in reverse AP mode) or extenders such as NetGear EX3700 and using Ethernet connection. An external adaptor can also provide access to Wifi capabilities such as 5G. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115308 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] WiFi dead? What are my options?
A few things I would try: - Factory reset: hold reset button on rear of Touch for 10 secs. - Firmware update/reapply If still no good and wiring not an option, you might consider HomePlug: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008F537KC/ Apesbrain's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=738 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115308 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

You cannot replace the wifi module on the Touch.
