Hi I'm currently thinking of getting a setup like this:
A Duet receiver will be connected to my A/V receiver. A controller will be used for controlling music around the appartment. However I ilke the idea of the touch screen device being placed on a shelf, enabling guests to easily create playlists when throwing a party. The SB Touch would not be connected to anything, and it would only be used to control the receiver. So... is this possible? I should mention that the reason I'm not just connecting the Touch to the A/V receiver is that, while I might accept a thin coaxial cable going from the Touch, an ethernet cable is out of the question. As I've read that a 802.11g network doesn't really cut it for streaming music (FLAC files) when part of the bandwidth is used for the controller. Or is the Touch able to connect to one wireless network for streaming music while itself being access point for another network to which the controller will connect? Hope it makes sense Thanks in advance -- AndyK ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AndyK's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16578 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70801 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
