Hi Gellie, The Western Digital My Book Essential Edition USB hard drives use a vertical fanless case; they are silent and inexpensive. I've been ripping to one for several months and it's worked perfectly. Now that the Touch release appears to be imminent, should I be pre-ordering directly from Logitech or through another vendor (Amazon, etc.) instead, in order to get a Touch in the U.S. as quickly as possible? (After all of you who have already pre-ordered get your Touches, of course!)
