[SlimDevices: Touch] Touch playback suffers from short interrupts

My current setup:

LMS 7.9.1 / 7.9.2 on Windows 10 server
SBTouch
SqueezePlayer on Windows 10 client
All wired (no Wifi, all ethernet)

Sometimes the SBTouch freezes playback for a second or so, and then the
music continues from the spot where it halted.

This is getting pretty annoying, and it seems to happen more and more.
Anybody that has a suggestions how to fix this?

It seems it does NOT happen when using SqueezePlayer on a Windows 10 PC,
connected to the same network.

Update. I've dug up my old Duet, which does NOT seem to have the
problem, so it's probably the SB Touch itself that is dying on me...
