Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Powerline Ethernet
I'm using MoCA which is the same principle but operates over my cable TV lines. Supports higher transfer rates which is nice as I also run video over the network from the same ReadyNAS that holds all my music. Work flawlessly! fphredd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33133 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95395 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

I am running coax out to a Bryston BDA-1 and the sound quality is definitely a step up from the same exact setup except the SB3 was in its place. More clarity and detail from top to bottom. So much less jitter? Or better quality parts, idk. And 24/96 is unbelievable. Listening to some Grateful Dead sound boards 24/96 and you can hear a lot of spatial information and air between voices and instruments and instruments sound more real. Im enjoying my Touch! Where do you get 24/96 boards?? :D -- fphredd fphredd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33133 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77478 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

I don't even need the functionality as I use iPeng (though it would be nice, of course), but this would be an awesome now playing screen as long as I've already accepted that paying extra for the touch screen wasn't worth it. erland;534459 Wrote: How do you get SqueezePlay to run in 800x600 ? I thought the latest version was restricted to the resolutions used by the real hardware Squeezebox'es and 800x600 is not one of them as far as I know. I can't get it to run properly at a 4:3 resolution, but as I said above, looking for the nicest now playing display. I'm actually using squeezeslave-asio as the player, since SqueezePlay won't output to the ASIO driver of my sound card (and I'm not expecting it to). -- fphredd fphredd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33133 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77117 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
