Are you using the Touch as a server or do you have a SBS running? Mine was doing this, if you press HOME on the remote it should go back to the normal menu and work again (mine did). THANKS!!! :) It is back in working order now, listening to music again :) Thanks to you I got the stupid update screen away and maneuvered to diagnostics/update - this time with the reinstall after firmware update enabled under applet installer.
