What version of the server are you using?

I'm not one to usually suggest it, as files don't typically just become
corrupted or disappear for no reason, but you could always try
reinstalling the server.

TRy to set the playlist length to a really big number ? and press apply
?

DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU REALLY HAVE A PLAYLIST DIRECTORY ASSIGNED !

If it is on a removable disc it may have changed drive letter or
something .

Try closing and reopening your browser and reopening the web interface.
If that doesn't work, try a different browser.

Thanks much for responding. I tried your first suggestion but still
can't save the playlist. I then tried your second suggestion using
Internet Explorer 11, which is the only other browser I currently have,
and that didn't work either--this time I got a blank white screen on the
left side.

Before saving the playlist using IE:

15533

After pressing Save using IE:

15534

Is there a size limit (i.e., maximum number of songs or total file size)
to playlists on SB Touch? If so, is there a way to increase it? I am new
to this forum but not new to Squeezebox. I started with a Squeezebox III
in 2005 and have used them as my primary home music server since then,
but I must confess I am stumped. I have saved much larger playlists in
the past and never ran into this problem. :confused:

There is a setting, although it's not particular to the Touch. In the
web interface, go to Settings  Advanced  Performance  Maximum
Playlist Length. You can set it to 0 to make it unlimited. I doubt it
will help, though.
