Hearsay or any evidence to back up these two apparantly contradictory comments? The Touch demand in the EU is higher then they had projected it would be with sales being strong. I rather feared that would be the answer. But as iPhone has said, sales in Europe have been strong, and a number of sites are selling this item and most show the said wall bracket via Logitech supplied advertising blurb. Prehaps if they have no intention of selling this item, they should remove it from advertising? If any of you lucky beta testers who have one, and are not intending to use it, maybe you would consider selling it to me. If so please drop me a PM. This has been discussed before. It seems extremely unlikely. Hints that Logitech didn't really want to sell the thing began with the proposed price of $99.95 (or $49.95... whatever). Then, like most things about Squeezebox, it simply wasn't discussed again by anyone at Logitech. Going by the limited number of sellers of the Touch, it appears that the Touch itself may not be a very long lived product. The original pie-in-the-sky plan to have the Touch function as some sort of flexible whole-house controller (of course with the addition of the hundreds of third party apps that would be appearing) has long been scrapped. As for Touch turning out as planned, not spectacular but they can't keep it in stock. Sales in Europe have exceeded anything they could have dreamed of. I feel the biggest problem is Logitech not understanding what made Slim Devices what it was, the distribution system of directly from the company or through retailers that really knew the product.
