Since it is the last working day of October I decided it may be my last chance to use the RELAUNCH2009 code so I went ahead and ordered a Radio and a Touch. I decided to put two seperate orders in to save any prossible problems with shipping - I didn't want my Radio to egt stuck until my Touch was ready to ship. So I odered the Radio first and then went to add the Touch to my basket but all I got was a "Notify Me" button instead of "Add to Cart"! Luckily I had another computer that wasn't logged into the Logitech shop but still had a Touch in the cart - must have been stored in a cookie or something. But for most retailers, today, Oct 28th, is too late for this Christmas selling season. Usually Labor Day is the end, after that, the catalogs are printed, shelf space assigned, staff trained, computers programmed with selling prices, etc. By the end of November, Christmas sales are in full process, and you can't even talk to a retailer about new products. I've got a beta test unit, and get new firmware nearly daily. Its getting better all the time. Actually, I may have the same hardware as they will be selling, I can't keep it all straight. I can say that the firmware and SBS software is getting better every day or so. Just personal experience, but its gonna be cool when it gets released. But to the topic, "announced" and "available to buy at your local Best Buy" are two separate dates. In the mean time I asked 2 other people tot test it the code in The Netherlands me but with the same result. So the promotion seems to have ended in The Netherlands. In that case I will wait until the price drops. I don't want to pay AND the maximum price AND use it for months with the bugs which will probably exist in the Touch. Even with the discount the Touch is still too expensive over here, it's meant to be the same price as the Classic/SB3 was like it is in the US.
