Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Using password with Logitech Media Server

2016-07-20 Thread OGS

Sorry for digging up an old thread!
Is there a way to store username/password on a Touch for remote
connection to LMS? I would like to avoid entering username and passwd
when I connect

Thanks

Ah yes of course !
Sorry for the dumb question.

In fact I forgot to open port 3483 and the Touch was unabled to connect
at all.
Now that I fully opened it, it's OK.

I am not really comfortable by letting an open port 3483 like that on my
server. For what it worth, I also don't feel safe with just basic HTTP
authentication on port 9000.
I suppose that the best solution would be to create a VPN access with my
router, but unfortunately my router is very simple and doesn't offer
that kind of service.

Thanks anyway !

The touch should just ask you when you connect
