[Touch-packages] [Bug 1838464] Re: NFS volume not mounting with systemd

2019-08-17 Thread Michele Michielin
Hello, I tried all of your suggestions but nothing changed.

First attempt: I tried to add the following lines to my unit file:

After=network.target network-online.target
Before=umount.target remote-fs.target

No success.

Second attempt: I removed my unit file, I mounted manually the folder (with
"sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.103:/Multimedia/Music /mnt/nas/music/") and I
noticed with "show mnt-nas-music.mount" that the options generated by systemd
were different, so I changed my unit file this way:
__

[Unit]
Description=NAS volume - Music
Wants=network-online.target
WantedBy=multi-user.target
Conflicts=umount.target
Before=remote-fs.target multi-user.target umount.target
After=system.slice remote-fs-pre.target systemd-journald.socket network.target
-.mount network-online.target

[Mount]
What=192.168.1.103:/Multimedia/Music
Where=/mnt/nas/music/
Type=nfs
Options=auto,user,nfsvers=3
TimeoutSec=10

[Install]
__

No success.

The error is always the same: "network is unreachable".

Please tell me if you need some other information.

Thanks for your help.

Michele

Bug description:
  Hello,

  I'm unable to mount NFS volume at boot time with systemd. Using Ubuntu

  I commented out /etc/fstab entry:
  #192.168.1.103:/Multimedia/Music  /mnt/nas/music/ nfs

  I created "/etc/systemd/system/mnt-nas-music.mount":

  WantedBy=multi-user.target

  I enabled it with "systemctl enable mnt-nas-music.mount" so that when I run
"systemctl is-enabled mnt-nas-music.mount" I obtain:
  enable

  But I keep obtaining this error ("systemctl status mnt-nas-

happens before network is ready:

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1840359] Re: systemd-networkd-wait-online & two ethernet on board

2019-08-17 Thread Dan Streetman
Your netplan config has enp3s0 as your main interface, and by default
that is required for boot, which is why your boot is delayed when you
don't have it connected.

Change your netplan 01-netcfg.yaml file to:

# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# For more information, see netplan(5).
network:
  version: 2
  renderer: networkd
  ethernets:
enp3s0:
  dhcp4: yes
  optional: yes
enp0s31f6:
  dhcp4: yes
  optional: yes

that should start dhcp4 on both your ethernet ports, but also won't
delay your boot. See the netplan man page for more details about its
config params.

Title:
  systemd-networkd-wait-online & two ethernet on board

Status in systemd package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Since I've upgraded to 19.04 my boot was 3 minutes longer due to wait for
network. I've tried many tricks, but today I have finally found the source =
the bug.
  My PC has motherboard AsRock Z370M-ITX/ac which has 2 Ethernet ports. When I
connect Ethernet cable just to the "first" device "enp3s0" boot is quick, when
I connect Ethernet cable just to the "second" device "enp0s31f6" boot is about
3 minutes longer.

  It simply waits for the "enp3s0" device.

  Since there is no mark on the board or on the rear panel which port is
  "first" and which is "second" it's clear that the failure is on Ubuntu
  19.04 side. Ubuntu 18.04 LTS has no such problem.

Bug description:
  * Availability

  Builds on all supported architectures in Ubuntu and on sync from

  promoted

  * Rationale

  We would like to enable dlna sharing of media files, which is a GNOME
  upstream feature and relying on rygel which depends on the gupnp
  libraries

  * Security

  There is an old CVE recorded/fixed
  https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2009-2174

  * Quality assurance

  - the desktop-packages team is subscribed to the package
  - the bug lists in upstream, the Debian PTS and launchpad are empty
  - upstream has a testsuit which is used during build

  * Dependendies

  The package uses standard desktop libraries that are already in main

  * Standards compliance

  the package is using standard packaging (dh10), the standards-version
  is 4.2, the package is in sync from Debian

  * Maintainance

  Upstream is active and the desktop team is going to look after the

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1840532] [NEW] ubuntu-bug behaviour differs from that described on the page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs

2019-08-17 Thread Volodymyr
Public bug reported:

I run this application with the command line
ubuntu-bug gnome-power-manager
and then, I proceed as described in the section 'Complete the bug report filing
process' on the page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs till the
message 'Uploading problem information' must appear, followed by 'Report a bug'
page. Neither of the last two windows appear and the application terminates
silently. Return code is 0.

1)$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 19.04
Release:19.04

2)$ apt-cache policy apport
apport:
  Installed: 2.20.10-0ubuntu27.1
  Candidate: 2.20.10-0ubuntu27.1
  Version table:
 *** 2.20.10-0ubuntu27.1 500

500 http://ua.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu disco/main amd64 Packages

3) Expected the page 'Report a bug' would appear.
4) Instead the application terminates.
