Public bug reported: The laptop audio works fine, but when I plug a headphone it seems that there is no audio. If I turn on overamplification it is possible to hear some low volume sound. Public bug reported: Hello, since a few days, i have no sound on my old hoontech dsp 24 sound card. I'm on Ubuntu mate 22.04 but the problem occurs also with several debian live cd's. I don'tt have the "digital mixer to ac97" in alsamixer any more. Dmesg | grep snd shows this : snd_ice1712 :04:01.0: enabling device ( -> 0001) [ 29.798438] snd_ice1712 :04:01.0: Consumer PCM code does not work well at the moment --jk [ 31.648695] snd_ice1712 :04:01.0: AC'97 0 does not respond - RESET [ 31.893223] snd_ice1712 :04:01.0: AC'97 0 access is not valid [0x], removing mixer.
