[Touch-packages] [Bug 2012146] Re: very high cpu usage, system unresponsive
Not sure it is related, but I have what seems to be the same issue but I'm still on 22.10. I see the following in dpkg.log: 2023-02-15 10:48:53 upgrade libusb-1.0-0-dev:amd64 2:1.0.25-1ubuntu2 2:1.0.26-1 I had no problems before, so to me it looks like that update might have caused it. I will revert that back and see if the issues are gone. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ibus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2012146 Title: very high cpu usage, system unresponsive Status in ibus package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: may be related to Ardour 7.3, when I start ardour and start working with the app, the system slows down and htop shows 100% cpu usage for ibus-daemon ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 23.04 Package: ibus 1.5.28-2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.1.0-16.16-generic 6.1.6 Uname: Linux 6.1.0-16-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia_modeset nvidia ApportVersion: 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Sat Mar 18 15:21:55 2023 InstallationDate: Installed on 2022-05-13 (308 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 21.10 "Impish Indri" - Release amd64 (20211012) SourcePackage: ibus UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to lunar on 2023-03-17 (1 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus/+bug/2012146/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Touch-packages] [Bug 1658921] Re: NetworkManager does not manage wired connection
Got the same issue upgrading from 16.04 to 16.10 and again from 16.10 to 17.04. Deleting the file worked. Sad that this is not fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1658921 Title: NetworkManager does not manage wired connection Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: NetworkManager does not manage my wired eth0 connection, no matter how I set /etc/network/interfaces or /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf Using ubuntu 16.04, /etc/network/interfaces only managed lo, and [ifupdown] section of NetworkManager.conf had set managed=false. With these same settings, after upgrading to ubuntu 16.10, eth0 appears as unmanaged in nm-applet. If I modify /etc/network/interfaces and add auto eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp And set managed=true in NetworkManager.conf [ifupdown] section, eth0 is still unmanaged despite it does get an IP from DHCP server. This is happening in my five computers (two laptops and three desktops).
