[Touch-packages] [Bug 1512092] [NEW] No details when transfer is aborted

2015-11-01 Thread Jani Monoses
Public bug reported:

On the phone I am using an app scoped content store instantiated from
QML.

When importing an item that already exists in the store, the transfer is
aborted without any apparent information on what the item was. This
makes sense since we already have the item, but for my use case -
attachment to a message - it would help to know which item was
attempted, so it can be taken from the existing store.

** Affects: content-hub (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1438879] [NEW] Phone boots into home screen with no circle

2015-03-31 Thread Jani Monoses
Public bug reported:

I've seen both the krillin and the arale boot into a greeting screen where only
the time and date are displayed but no indicators, no circle and no possibility
to unlock. adb says the device is offline.
The power button works for sleep/wake but the time does not seem to be updated
on the screen.
Seen with the vivid-proposed channel.

This was not on first boot, however it may have been (last two times at
least) right after upgrading the uboot partition (lk.bin) and booting
that.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1428694] [NEW] Timeout error on download when /android/cache is missing

2015-03-05 Thread Jani Monoses
Public bug reported:

Firs off, the main bug here is /android/cache not being mounted on a device
being brought up, so not s-i related.
However the error system-image-cli -n gives is a Timeout after 10 minutes. The
download should proceed well, the network is working, so I think it may
misinterpret the lack of files in /android/cache as a downloading error? I have
not looked at the code hence the bold speculation :)

While the porters should make sure they have everything mounted
correctly, s-i checking whether the destination exists would allow a
quicker error message.

The end of the traceback:

That's unexpeted and undesired. It also causes tests to actually
install test dependencies with dpkg (when running through
autopkgtest), instead of using the desired "unpack into temp dir"

Note that there is no /userdata/.writable_image stamp, this happens
