[Touch-packages] [Bug 1041551] Re: No interface after updating to mesa 9.0 in Quantal (Mesa 8.0.4 works)
Nazar, you're right: I've installed them manually downloading and running dpkg. Nevertheless, I think that the fact that package metainfo doesn't contain all it's requirements is a bug and should be fixed. May be it's worth trying kernels newer than my 3.2? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041551 Title: No interface after updating to mesa 9.0 in Quantal (Mesa 8.0.4 works) Status in mesa package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Totay after updating from mesa packages of version 8.0.4-1ubuntu1 to 9.0-git20120821.c1114c61-0ubuntu1 and restarting system I observed no titles on windows, no unity panel, dash, even no shortcuts on desktop - only background and windows of automatically started programs without frames. #10, disagree with you strongly. At least the packages would be marked as unappropriate. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1041551] Re: No interface after updating to mesa 9.0 in Quantal (Mesa 8.0.4 works)
Greetings from Russia, comrads! Please reopen the bug (or should I file a new one?)! I tried to update Qt5 on Ubuntu Precise (12.04) and thus installed libglapi-mesa and libgl1-mesa-glx, both 10.1.0-4ubuntu5 (for Trusty). Also I tried to install Xenial versions. If I do so, Unity 5.20.0-0ubuntu3 is breaked, as was described above. If I return to 8.0.4-0ubuntu0.7 - all works. However, if the error could be fixed by improving the source code, that would be much better!
