I've got the 'other vibrations' setting disabled and I'm still getting vibrations from certain buttons. My issue (which was marked as a duplicate of this) is https://bugs.launchpad.net/music-app/+bug/1438302. This is driving me a little crazy. Is there an option? But it's definitely wrong on my device! I had a similar issue today. I was using the phone to listen to music with headphones (walking to work, just to set the scene). I unplugged the headphones when I reached the office, did my usual pre- work faff of making a cup of tea etc. When I went to use the device the screen would turn on but I couldn't enter my passcode into the lock screen. I pull it out. I press the power button. I can swipe the screen and unlock but I can't open the launcher, switch applications, etc (it happened to me 3 times while I was out) jdstrand: mmmsounds different, like the shell died I do see the hint that the launcher is there-- when I unlock, it opens slightly then hides I think I saw that... phone is working ok atm jdstrand: did it "recover" on its own ? like...you couldn't use spread...and then 30 secs later you could? kgunn: I let it sit for maybe 10 minutes. I had to hard reboot by long pressing the power button. when confirmation came up to poweroff, it wouldn't respond. so I had to hold the power button for a long time to force it off kgunn: I had been living with this for a couple of weeks nad it was very frustrating-- then I saw that bug about input that was on the list (kgunn pretty sure this means bug 1295623 ) , subscribed to it, and it seemed fixed when it hit the images.
