[Touch-packages] [Bug 931303] Re: "4-Way Handshake failed" connecting Wi-Fi after boot; retrying repeatedly eventually succeeds -- Broadcom BCM4321 wl
The bus is still present in 12.04 (Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG ). After some attemps (from some minutes to many and many minutes) the connection succeeds else if I restart the router all goes ok (but only linux sistems are affected by this issues, no android or windows smartphone/laptop or my kindle device suffer by this problem). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/931303 Title: "4-Way Handshake failed" connecting Wi-Fi after boot; retrying repeatedly eventually succeeds -- Broadcom BCM4321 wl Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I have a Dell Inspiron 1720, Ubuntu 11.10, the Broadcom STA driver installed. When starting ubuntu, the wireless doesn't connect and the message in the syslog is "4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect". I managed to make it work, sometimes by chance. Sometimes I stop the connection, kill wpa_supplicant and then try again and it works.
