the sound card is not detected. the output option in sound settings is showing 
dummy output.
i am using ubuntu 14.04 lts
i expected sound while playing a movie but there is no sound.
in the sound settings only the output is displaying only dummy out put.(i 
connected my inspiron 3250 desktop to tv via hdmi, even when external speakers 
are connected system is not reading them.)
