And the page does not update automatically. In the android face book app, it shows a notification inside of the app when you have new entry, clicking on it will go to the top of the timeline with the new entries. Or you can click in the specific button that will scroll you to the top and refresh it with new entries. --- UX SOLUTION --- The optional header design does have a refresh icon at the top.
