OK, thanks. Since we're not certain what the fix was (if any) then Incomplete is the best state. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1370386] Re: libmirclient7 hang on client startup
Ubuntu 14.04 itself is stable. Although Mir (which is not yet a core component) is much more featured (and arguably more stable) on the bleeding edge in 14.10. XMir should work, but we don't support it. So I can't guarantee that it still does. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mir in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1370386 Title: libmirclient7 hang on client startup Status in Mir: New Status in “mir” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When starting up a mir 7 client on vmware (Ubuntu 14.04) it hangs in the following location: at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/x86_64/pthread_cond_wait.S:185 185 ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/x86_64/pthread_cond_wait.S: No such file or directory. Sure, I'll try that, although I thought Ubuntu 14.04 had some sort of "stable mir 7" environment shipped with it.
