Public bug reported: That leaded to issue in ubuntu-system-settings. Our code calls textdomain() directly, the domain was then changed to another wrong value because MainView's overwrites it to be "applicationName".
The main reason why we did the call ourself was because the MainView documentation doesn't document that it's doing it for you (opened bug #1421661 about that), but still if some code decide to write a specific value it should probably be respected and not overwrited. Suggested change, set the textdomain only if that has not been done yet ** Affects: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-ui-toolkit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1421672 Title: Overwrite the gettext to MainView.applicationName if already set Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: That leaded to issue in ubuntu-system-settings.
