[Touch-packages] [Bug 1424581] Re: indicator-datetime-service crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_malloc()
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once: apport-collect and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. ** Changed in: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-datetime in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1424581 Title: indicator-datetime-service crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_malloc() Status in indicator-datetime package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I had to force a shutdown by cutting power off and then booting the computer, and then i got this crash report ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10 Package: indicator-datetime 13.10.0+14.10.20141009-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.16.0-31.41-generic 3.16.7-ckt5 Uname: Linux 3.16.0-31-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.7-0ubuntu8.2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Feb 23 11:29:57 2015 ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/indicator-datetime/indicator-datetime-service ExecutableTimestamp: 1412862947 InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-10-16 (129 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Release amd64 (20140722.2) ProcCmdline: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/indicator-datetime/indicator-datetime-service ProcCwd: /var/lib/lightdm ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR= LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/false SegvAnalysis: Segfault happened at: 0x7f06ec58105e <_int_malloc+238>: cmp 0x10(%rdx),%r12 PC (0x7f06ec58105e) ok source "0x10(%rdx)" (0x0010) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! destination "%r12" ok SegvReason: reading NULL VMA Signal: 11 SourcePackage: indicator-datetime StacktraceTop: _int_malloc (av=0x7f06ec8be760 , bytes=300) at malloc.c:3389 __GI___libc_malloc (bytes=300) at malloc.c:2891 __GI__IO_str_overflow (fp=0x7fff1b5f9de0, c=110) at strops.c:119 __GI__IO_default_xsputn (f=0x7fff1b5f9de0, data=, n=34) at genops.c:480 _IO_vfprintf_internal (s=s@entry=0x7fff1b5f9de0, format=, format@entry=0x7f06e35be9f0 "type='signal',interface='ca.desrt.dconf.Writer',path='%s',arg0path='%s'", ap=ap@entry=0x7fff1b5f9f50) at vfprintf.c:1642 Title: indicator-datetime-service crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_malloc() UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to utopic on 2014-12-21 (63 days ago) UserGroups: To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-datetime/+bug/1424581/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
