[Touch-packages] [Bug 1460301] Re: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM)
Here are the steps and some screenshots about the bug: Steps to repro: 1º Create and save two contacts, one on each SIM (screenshots 1 & 2) with an Android device. 2º Then I put both SIM cards in krillin with OTA-9 installed. 3º Receive a call from those contacts before import them from SIM (I wanted to try) both appear as unknown caller and with SIM 1 label. 4º Import both contacts from their SIM cards 5º Repeat the calls from both contacts and check that SIM 1 label appear for both contacts (screenshots 3&4) 6º Delete both contacts and repeat the calls (screenshots 1.2 & 2.2) like step 3º. ** Attachment added: "screenshots_.zip" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/telephony-service/+bug/1460301/+attachment/4563732/+files/screenshots_.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to telephony-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1460301 Title: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM) Status in Canonical System Image: Fix Released Status in Ubuntu UX: Fix Committed Status in telephony-service package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Ubuntu 14.10 (r22) (Don't know how to find a package version :/, but I checked for updates on 29-05-2015 and all apps are up to date) I have two SIM cards inserted into BQ Aquaris 4.5 On incoming call I expect to see information if SIM1 or SIM2 was dialled by caller alongside caller ID. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1460301] Re: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM)
** Package changed: dialer-app (Ubuntu) = telephony-service (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to telephony-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1460301 Title: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM) Status in Ubuntu UX: Triaged Status in telephony-service package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Ubuntu 14.10 (r22) (Don't know how to find a package version :/, but I checked for updates on 29-05-2015 and all apps are up to date) I have two SIM cards inserted into BQ Aquaris 4.5 On incoming call I expect to see information if SIM1 or SIM2 was dialled by caller alongside caller ID. I see only caller ID. It may be useful if one of the SIM cards is in roaming, or when one of the SIMs is a company number while other is a private number. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1460301] Re: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM)
I filed a similar bug against dialer-app the other day before I saw this one: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dialer-app/+bug/1469467 (now marked as duplicate) In that bug I added two more fr's that I believe also to be useful in this context. those additions are: : 1) in the recent calls panel of the dialer-app, each missed/incoming call should show to which of the two sims a call was made. When this is realised, it should then by default select that same sim to call back in the dialer panel when that phone number is selected from missed calls. 2) Also useful would be to have a UI where a user could add an alias to each sim, which would then be used in the dialer-app (or even system- wide) to replace sim 1 and sim 2. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to dialer-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1460301 Title: [Dialer] Incoming call - no info which SIM card was called (dual SIM) Status in Ubuntu UX bugs: Triaged Status in dialer-app package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Ubuntu 14.10 (r22) (Don't know how to find a package version :/, but I checked for updates on 29-05-2015 and all apps are up to date) I have two SIM cards inserted into BQ Aquaris 4.5 On incoming call I expect to see information if SIM1 or SIM2 was dialled by caller alongside caller ID.
