[Touch-packages] [Bug 1479524] Re: Totem Crashes at launch from missing libwayland-egl
For 14.04.3, I'll just manually hint this in the livefs build, but a more correct solution to mesa's deps (or mesa's unconditional dlopen) should be sorted out at some point. ** Also affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Vivid) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Wily) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Trusty) Milestone: None => ubuntu-14.04.3 ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Trusty) Assignee: (unassigned) => Adam Conrad (adconrad) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479524 Title: Totem Crashes at launch from missing libwayland-egl Status in System76: New Status in livecd-rootfs package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in mesa package in Ubuntu: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in livecd-rootfs source package in Trusty: New Status in mesa source package in Trusty: Invalid Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in livecd-rootfs source package in Vivid: Invalid Status in mesa source package in Vivid: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Vivid: Invalid Status in livecd-rootfs source package in Wily: Invalid Status in mesa source package in Wily: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Wily: Invalid Bug description: When trying to open a video file from Ubuntu 14.04.3 Daily Image (2015-07-29), it will not open. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1479524] Re: Totem Crashes at launch from missing libwayland-egl
Looks like mesa should be pulling this in, if it's going to try loading it unconditionally and explode when it can't. In vivid, we don't have this problem, as a variety of low level libs (like gtk and sdl) link to libwayland-egl directly, thus accidentally papering over the fact that mesa itself doesn't depend on it. ** Changed in: mesa-lts-vivid (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Also affects: mesa (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mesa (Ubuntu Vivid) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mesa-lts-vivid (Ubuntu Vivid) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: mesa-lts-vivid (Ubuntu Vivid) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: mesa (Ubuntu Trusty) Status: New => Invalid ** Also affects: mesa (Ubuntu Wily) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mesa-lts-vivid (Ubuntu Wily) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479524 Title: Totem Crashes at launch from missing libwayland-egl Status in System76: New Status in mesa package in Ubuntu: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in mesa source package in Trusty: Invalid Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in mesa source package in Vivid: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Vivid: Invalid Status in mesa source package in Wily: New Status in mesa-lts-vivid source package in Wily: Invalid Bug description: When trying to open a video file from Ubuntu 14.04.3 Daily Image (2015-07-29), it will not open.
