Presumably, yes. All I know is that the arm64 build works on xenial, but fails on vivid. Strangely, the function pointer syntax works for us everywhere, except in this one test. The work-around is good enough for us for now. But, seeing the the work- around is rather non-obvious, it would be good to have this fixed in vivid+overlay.
