Maybe related (?): the text is not vertically centered inside TextFields. Yes, I noticed the same that the colors in denial somehow are screwed. Could it be a more general text rendering issue with the UITK on xenial? The widget that’s used to draw the text on tabs is defined here: https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~phablet-team/webbrowser-app/trunk/view/head:/src/app/webbrowser/TabItem.qml#L66. I’m guessing this is on desktop xenial, right? On my wily setup, the text on tabs looks much more readable, even though not as high contrast as chrome.
