Public bug reported: currently you have to tap on the video/timeline bar to get to a later/earlier point in a video. it would be a nicer user experience to navigate with swipe gestures rather than by tapping. like swipe right over the video surface to fast forward. the further/faster i move the finger the faster it should fast forward.
vlc on android does this very nicely. (it also controls volume and brightness with swipe gestures - ver convenient!) ** Affects: mediaplayer-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mediaplayer-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1622157 Title: swiping to move forward/backward Status in mediaplayer-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: currently you have to tap on the video/timeline bar to get to a later/earlier point in a video. it would be a nicer user experience to navigate with swipe gestures rather than by tapping. like swipe right over the video surface to fast forward. the further/faster i move the finger the faster it should fast forward. vlc on android does this very nicely.
