  ubuntu can't detect usb canon MF4700 printer

Bug description:
  I'm trying to connect Canon MF4700 Series. i follow most of the instructions 
from the web.
  i almost done. I have found the driver from the manufactures web page. I 
install the driver using the command "bash install.sh". it's work fine. but at 
the end. its show Canon printer set up utility and ask me to select the 
connection protocol if via network or Internet or a USB. My printer connection 
via USB connection. but it doesn't show any USB URI device to select. please 
hepl. i check if the printers.

  I'm attaching most of the command line configuration.

Hello Talal,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with cups.  You made 
this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu and cups have been updated since then. 

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the 
ticket? 
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to 
this bug? 
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run 
the following (only once):
apport-collect 1736213
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this 
particular issue.
