[Touch-packages] [Bug 1815509] Re: Shutdown hung by firmware update daemon
Thanks for the comment. If it's gone with disco I'll close this. Please anyone who encounters it, turn on fwupd verbose logging so we can figure out what is happening if it's fwupd. It's also possible this is the last visible message but it's some other script running at this time. This will be evidenced in a verbose log. ** Changed in: fwupd (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1815509 Title: Shutdown hung by firmware update daemon Status in fwupd package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: When rebooting my desktop, the shutdown sequence hangs for a long time on "Stopping firmware update daemon."
