Title:
Laptop does not recognize it's charging

Status in upower package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I'm using a pretty new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme G2. Since a few
days, the laptop does not recognize that its charging all the time.
It's showing the battery icon and a percent number. This must be
broken a couple of days or weeks ago, this was working when I
  installed Ubuntu 19.10.

It does not depend from dock or directly connecting the AC adapter.

Incredibly long battery life time is shown, see screenshot. (laptop
was connected to AC during this)

This is a problem because for example firmware upgrades does not work
  because they require "AC-connected state".

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1872917] Re: Laptop does not recognize it's charging

2020-04-21 Thread Cornelius
Found out that my laptops charging port is (partially) broken and will
be changed by guarantee. The laptop is actually charging but with a
extremely low power, that's why it shows such long batery lifetimes.

This bug can be closed. Windows reported discharging state, too.

Thank you for your bug report, could you include the 'upower -d' output
at the time of the issue?
