Public bug reported:

To enable gnome-gmail to work, the sanitized_helper profile in
/etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/ubuntu-helpers needs to allow the main
script of gnome-gmail to be exec'ed. I have added a minimal change to
allow that, which is attached to this bug:

  # Allow exec of gnome-gmail main script
  /usr/share/gnome-gmail/gnomegmail.py Pixr,

A more general change to support other (potential) helpers might be
useful. (Alternatively, this could be considered a gnome-gmail
problem—it's a weird way to package a Python program, to use a trivial
shell script that execs the main program!)
