[Touch-packages] [Bug 515154] Re: Sound freeze when changing volume since Ubuntu 9.10
I really am sorry this issue went unanswered for so long :( The backlog we've accrued here is truly unfortunate. We'd really like to see the situation improve, but with over 3000 open bugs, manually testing each is almost impossible now. The aim today was to ping these older bugs and allow anyone still effected to respond and put their bug onto the radar again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/515154 Title: Sound freeze when changing volume since Ubuntu 9.10 Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: gnome-media Hardware: CMI8788 [Oxygen HD Audio] - Asus Xonar DX Bug: Sound freeze for a few seconds when changing volume while playing song regardless of using any media player, problem since Ubuntu 9.10 - Ubuntu 10.04, no problem with Ubuntu 9.04 or lower. [Touch-packages] [Bug 515154] Re: Sound freeze when changing volume since Ubuntu 9.10
Well that's one way to resolve a bug: Accuse the user of not trying hard enough, then wait ten years and close the bug because the product it was reported on is no longer supported. Way to go, guys. Let's all give Ubuntu's bug management staff a big hand.
