[Touch-packages] [Bug 544681] Re: SPDIF doesn't work with Conexant CX20561 (Hermosa)
[Expired for alsa-driver (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544681 Title: SPDIF doesn't work with Conexant CX20561 (Hermosa) Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: The SPDIF-output (neither coaxial nor Toslink) can't be activated on a "Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Si 2636"-laptop. The audio chip is a "Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller" (information from lspci) with "Conexant CX20561 (Hermosa)"-codec. I've already tried different model parameters with the "snd_hda_intel"-module in "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf", but no success. The audio-system (Logitech Z-680) doesn't get any data (neither coaxial nor Toslink) and the Toslink-emitter in the headphone-jack isn't on.
